Cookie Decorating Class

Saturday March 6, 2010
1-3pm $90.00 per person

Sugar cookies are perfect for any occasion! Use them as party favors, desserts, after school snacks or even wedding favors. In this cookie class will focus on the classic sugar cookie recipe and several ways to decorate them. Decorating techniques taught will include using royal icing, buttercream, and fondant. Some of the shapes of cookies will include the classic circle, square, wedding (or birthday) stacked cake, and a couple of shaped cutters (heart, animals, etc…). We will also show you the perfect way to display finished cookies and the proper way to store and package them.

Basic Buttercream Skills

Saturday March 20, 2010
10-12pm - $90.00 per person (teen and adult class)

Come and learn how to fill, crumb, and final a 2 layer celebration cake. In this class you will learn various types of borders (shell, pearl), writing, flowers, (roses, daisies, mums), color icings, visualizing your decorated cake before you begin to decorate it and how clever decorators cover up simple mistakes.

Creative Cupcakes

10-12pm - $90.00 per person (teen and adult class)

Would you like to learn how to make cupcakes that not only taste good but look amazing as well? In this creative cupcakes class you will learn how to bake, fill, and decorate cupcakes. Some of the decorating techniques taught will include the classic buttercream, fondant décor, funny animals, and floral décor. Learn how to make beautiful cupcakes for any occasion!

Petit Four Class

Saturday April 3, 2010
10-12pm - $100.00 per person (adult class)

Petit fours are the perfect delicate dessert for any occasion. Starting with a basic sponge cake we will teach you how to layer them with filling, cover in fondant, and decorate it with gorgeous décor. These treats are perfect for any occasion and will definitely have your guests asking for seconds. This dessert is sure to please all!

Quiche Class

Saturday April 17, 2010
11-1pm - $90.00 per person

Quiche is one of our most versatile dishes. It is the perfect item for breakfast, lunch, brunch, dinner, or even as a snack. We will provide you with the basic quiche recipe and then let you create a delicious savory dish! We will provide you with everything you need including fresh vegetables (onions, sun dried tomatoes, spinach, etc…), and proteins (bacon, ham).

Each course is limited to 12 students so sign up today!
Full payment is due when you sign up.
